dSantana Arquitectura functions as a full service architectural design firm, however our business is also dedicated to public sector construction management services. Since 1990, we have served the public sector as Program, Project, Design and Construction Managers.
Our Principal has participated in various private and public sector programs, including the $1.0 billion outpatient health facilities Improvement Program for Los Angeles County; the $81 billion expansion and meager of Exxon Mobil; the renovation and new shell design for the iconic Hollywood Bowl; the renovation and seismic improvements of the City of Long Beach Public Safety Building; the $10 billion Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) New School Construction Program and the California State University Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) Classroom Village project.

Pre-Construction – We also believe that the preconstruction phase determines the success of each project, therefore, it is our goal at the beginning phases of project development to ensure we have prepared our Project Team for success.

Contract Management – dSantana Arquitectura provides qualified professionals to function as Owner Representatives to manage, coordinate and schedule the tasks of the project General Contractor or multiple trade subcontractors. Utilizing tested and proven management techniques, we maintain all records and daily logs and actively manage the bid construction process. We also place an emphasis on document control and all our field staff maintain accurate, status information and project schedules on each project. These tasks start from notice to proceed to notice of completion.

Agency Coordination – As an experienced architects and construction managers, our staff will be responsible for coordinating all activities pertaining to Federal, State and local agencies.

Sustainability Consulting – We understand the importance of the design and construction industries shift to sustainable and green building practices. Therefore, are committed to being informed and active in this aspect of project development. We understand the cost consequences of green building standards and search for methods to implement them within a competitive construction budget. dSantana Arquitectura has LEED accredited associates on staff to assist our Clients in meeting LEED certification and green sustainability project goals.

Closeout – Our approach to Project Closeout begins on the first day of the project. We initiate coordination of the project documents and submittals to ensure completion and compliance. Our staff excels in meeting the project closeout requirements and we have an excellent track record for timely closeout on all projects.
